Inclusive and Active Citizens

Inclusive and Active Citizens

Our latest video case study features Jake and the LGBT+ Forum in York.  They have recently been an ESF Community Grants delivery partner – offering confidence building courses sand support in CV writing and interview techniques to unemployed people in North Yorkshire.

Jake describes the overall work of the forum as “…wanting to help people become inclusive  and  active citizens.”

Marketing Manager

Hi I’m Simon and I work as Marketing Manager for Better Connect.  I manage the overall marketing work, highlighting the impact of the ATI programme.

The great part of my job is it allows me to meet really interesting people in lots of different walks of life and ask them to tell me their story.

I’ve worked in the voluntary and charitable sector for over 20 years now in a number of different roles and think the sector represents what is great in Great Britain.
