Inclusive Workplaces

What is the Inclusive Workplace Package?

This element of the project has been designed specifically to engage with SME’s in York, North Yorkshire and East Riding, helping to inspire culture change and celebrate workplace diversity. This project acknowledges the importance of prioritising staff wellbeing and in doing so can help to reduce absenteeism, presenteeism and the number of sick days taken by employees.

Workplace wellbeing and positive workplace culture underpin the support we can offer to help your business to thrive, and can offered in the following areas;

  • Policies and Procedures
  • Recruitment and Induction
  • Culture and Values
  • Staff Skills and Training
  • Reasonable Adjustments and Support
  • Quality standards and Pledges

We have designed a diagnostic tool that will help to identify areas where Thriving at Work support can help you make positive changes, set goals, and contribute to helping your workforce and your organisation to thrive.

Support is delivered by specialist organisations that have a wealth of experience of supporting SMEs and include;

  • Autism Plus
  • Community Works
  • NYCC Public Health
  • Friends of St Nicholas Fields (St Nicks)
  • Working for Health

Do you have employees in your organisations that would benefit from accessing diversity training or workplace support? They too are eligible to take part in project provision – we can even amend some of our training to meet the needs of your organisation and deliver to you in house.

We are only able to offer Inclusive Workplace Support to SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises).
